Mabel and Lawrence Verigin are a husband and wife team who work in complimentary art forms - soft and hard – fiber and wood.
Mabel is very talented fiber artist. Having taught a variety of fiber arts including basketry, cross stitch, hardanger, needlepoint, quilting, and weaving. Mabel is a master weaver and a meticulous quilter. Her work speaks for itself – have a look and you will see the vast talent and imagination that Mabel is in command of!
Her husband, Lawrence’s talent with wood is equal to Mabel’s with fiber. A retired contractor he has taken to the finer side of woodworking making beautiful Russian style ladles and the ‘best’ salad servers we have ever used!

Mabel and Lawrence are both open to doing any custom work that could be embraced by their combined talents. For example, if you had a unique piece of wood just waiting to be made into a table – Lawrence would be happy to help and you could go the extra step and have Mabel design and create some lovely placemats to complement!
