Protect Your Patterns To keep your patterns in one place and easy to find, purchase a looseleaf binder and a pack of clear sheet protectors. Place your patterns in the clear sleeves and all you have to do is flip through your binder to find the pattern.
Thank you, Shirley Gilmore
Crafty and Creative Pinning! When sewing with flower head pins, turn the "flowers" to a vertical position so that you can easily grab each as you come to it.
Thank you, Wilma Searcy
Remove Sewing Machine Oil From Fabric You may have heard, dish soap really does remove sewing machine oil from fabric!!
Simply apply the dish soap to the stain using a toothbrush and gently brushing the stain. Dab the soap away using a clean piece of paper towel. You may need to do this couple of time to get the stain and then the soap out, but it really does work!
Thank Goodness! and thank you, Sandra Edwards from Trail, British Columbia!
Thread Matters Save yourself the headache and avoid using 'bargain' or old thread. Remember the few cents you will save may be lost in the quality of your project or the frustration of your machines performance. |
