Sugar Shack Quilting & Handmade Gifts came about as a result of more hours than I can count of searching for an honest way to make a living on theinternet. As the stay at home mother of two small children full time, Dominic (born in 2002) and Victoria (born in 2005) as well as two older children (Josh born in 1993 and John born in 1996) part time; it was my goal in starting this business to be able to work in large part, around their schedules. The computer and, more importantly, the internet are wonderful tools for being able to do this.

I love to quilt and have always appreciated (thank you Mum!) handcrafted items and so I thought that I could bring them together in one venue that would benefit everyone who loves to create.

I would never have been able to do this without the constant love, support, and ego boost that my sweet sweet husband, Steve provides for me everyday! Thank you for being my ‘yes’ man! I love you.

Sugar Shack Quilting has grown from a small home based business to an active vibrant quilt shop in the our little downtown community. In February 2008 we made the big move out of the house and into a store front. With the boys all in school and Victoria so easy to take with me things are really great.
